IRIS - Foundation Institute of Social Re-Integration

The Institute for Social Re-Integration Foundation was established on December 30, 2016.

The Institute creates international multilateral consortia, thanks to which it deepens the cohesion of Europe and promotes pro-European civic attitudes. The Foundation supports all Young Creatives who want to deepen their passions, publicly proclaim their beliefs and improve the world, even in an ideological outline.

The Foundation’s main goal is broadly understood cultural and artistic education for children, youth and adults, mainly in the non-formal sphere.

We disseminate quality standards in language learning. We promote bilingualism and functional plurilingualism in all age groups. We work to increase the employability of Poles in the labour market by improving their language skills.

Ustanova za obrazovanje odraslih Dante

Adult Education Institution Dante was founded in 1991 as a foreign language school, and in 2007 it became a publicly recognised institution for adult education and learning. Since then, Dante has been implementing various programmes verified by the Ministry of Science and Education, including foreign language learning programmes – Italian, English, German, and Croatian for foreigners, as well as professional training programmes.

Programmes tailored to everyone

In a relaxed, inspiring, and creative space, our educators teach in an interesting way, eager to transfer their knowledge and skills to their learners, and at the same time learn something new from them. All of our programmes support each learner’s individual needs, enabling everyone to realise their potential and achieve desired results.

Escola Teresa Miquel i Pàmies

Our school is a Pre-primary and Primary School. There are 441 students, 118 pre-primary students (from 3 to 5 years old) and 323 primary students (from 6 to 12 years old). Our students are from different countries: Marrocco, Africa, SouthAmerica, Asia and different Europen countries. We have students with special needs or disability like: learning difficulties, autistics, hyperactivity, attention deficit disorder and reduced mobility.

Our main objectives are: to improve the academic results, achieve good social cohesion and promote and value the effort culture. It’s also an important value the cooperation and the collaborative work. We want our students achieve good academic results. We use different metologies because of our students diversity. Another of our concerns is to provide the right care of our pupils with special educational needs.

Our projects are: competence workshop project (different workshops with students of different ages to fostering inclusion and cooperative work), English project (english activities in other subjects and we participate in different contests), a science project (sudents do experiments and presentations, teamwork and cooperation, a garden, practical mathematics, reading sponsors, different activities in corners with pre-primary students: art, science, music…). We also share different activities with other centers from our city.

Associació EDUFEM

EduFem is a young non-for-profit organisation with the aim of offering activities and informal/non-formal educational programmes in our community, paying especial attention to vulnerable groups -such as migrants and women.

EduFem aims to boost local civic participation in social projects and programmes. That’s why we are committed to place continuous learning at the core of social inclusion actions. We do not only offer educational activities, but we also collaborate closely with education centers, organisations of migrants, women association, and public bodies among others to help eachother and muliply our impact on the community.

EduFem’s mission is to raise awareness about the importance of active citizenship to feel part of our community. EduFem also seeks to support vulnerable groups of our society (such as migrants, women, people with economic disadvantages…) to improve their competences, help them get into the labour market, implement their own initaties, or even find funding opportunities for their professional projects.
